Horse Care Data: Information you enter about your horses, including care schedules, appointments, and notes.

We collect minimal data. Signing up only requires an email and name. Everything else (horse details, care schedules, professional contacts) is information you choose to enter yourself. Nothing is scraped, imported, or collected automatically.

Your data is private. Every horse profile, appointment, health record, competition entry, and exercise log is protected by strict access controls built into our database. This means only you, as the owner, and anyone you explicitly invite as a co-manager can see or edit your horses' records. No other user, including HorsePlan administrators browsing the app, can access your data.

Co-managers only ever see the specific horses you choose to share with them, never your full account. You can revoke a co-manager's access to any horse at any time.

We do not sell your personal information, under any circumstances. We may share your data only:

• With service providers who help us operate the app (e.g., hosting and infrastructure).
• When required by law or legal process.
• In connection with a business transfer or acquisition.

Care reminders (by email or push notification) are opt-in. They are sent only to you, about your own horses or those shared with you as a co-manager, and only if you've enabled them in Settings. Nothing is sent without your consent, and you can toggle reminders off at any time.

We implement appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure.

You are in control of your data at all times. Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or delete your personal data.
• Restrict or object to certain processing.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.

You can view, correct, or delete your information at any time, and a permanent account deletion option is available directly in Settings, removing your information from HorsePlan.
